  • 1 cup Sprinkles To add some colorful magic.

  • 1 cup Dried fruit (like cranberries or raisins) A natural treat for the reindeer.

For Packaging and Crafting

  • as needed Craft materials (colored paper, markers, scissors, glue) For decorations.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the oats, sprinkles, and dried fruit. If using edible glitter, sprinkle some in for that holiday sparkle.
  • While the kids mix, set up crafting stations with materials for decorating bags or containers.
  • Fill your chosen bags or containers with the reindeer food.
  • Allow the kids to decorate the packages with drawings, stickers, or any festive touch they like.
  • Create a card to include, encouraging the receiver to sprinkle the food outside on Christmas Eve.

Notes

Store the assembled mixture in an airtight container at room temperature if serving within a few days. For longer storage, consider freezing it in sealed bags, but note that the texture may alter upon thawing due to moisture.
