Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Remove any wilted outer leaves from the head of cabbage and slice it into thick steaks, about 1 inch thick.
  • Brush both sides of each cabbage steak with olive oil, then sprinkle generously with salt, pepper, and any optional seasonings you desire.
  • Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Cooking

  • Roast the cabbage in the oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through until they are crispy and golden brown.
