  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For the Lemon Butter Sauce:

  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice about 2 lemons
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • Lemon slices for garnish

    1️⃣ Prepare the Shrimp:

    • Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
    • Lightly coat each shrimp in flour, shaking off the excess.

    2️⃣ Make the Egg Batter:

    • In a bowl, whisk eggs with 2 tbsp water.
    • Dip the floured shrimp into the egg mixture, coating evenly.

    3️⃣ Cook the Shrimp:

    • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Cook the shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.

    4️⃣ Make the Sauce:

    • In the same skillet, add white wine, scraping up any bits from the pan.
    • Stir in chicken broth and lemon juice, simmering for 2 minutes.
    • Whisk in butter until smooth, then return the shrimp to the pan.

    5️⃣ Finish & Serve:

    • Simmer for 1-2 minutes, allowing the shrimp to soak up the sauce.
    • Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices. Serve immediately.
