Ingredients
  

For the Quesadillas

  • 1 lb ground beef Can substitute with ground turkey or plant-based meat alternatives.
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese Feel free to experiment with different cheese varieties.
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder To season the beef.

Optional Toppings

  • pickles

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  • Press a small handful of ground beef onto one half of each tortilla, seasoning generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Cooking

  • Place the tortilla with the beef side down in the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the beef is browned.
  • Carefully flip the tortilla, sprinkle cheese over the beef, then fold the tortilla in half.
  • Grill both sides until the tortilla is crispy and the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes on each side.

Serving

  • Remove from heat, slice into wedges, and serve with your favorite toppings or a burger sauce for dipping.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet on medium heat for a crispy texture.
