Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh apple cider (unsweetened if possible)
  • ½ cup coconut water (for electrolytes)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger (or 1 tsp freshly grated)
  • tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp raw honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • Ice cubes or cinnamon sticks (for serving)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Combine the apple cider and coconut water in a small saucepan. Warm over medium heat for 3–4 minutes until hot but not boiling.
  • Add cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, vanilla, and salt. Whisk until the spices dissolve and the aroma fills your kitchen.
  • Stir in honey or maple syrup, tasting as you go until the flavor feels balanced and comforting.
  • Remove from the stove and add fresh lemon juice to bring brightness and a touch of adrenal support.
  • Pour into glasses or mugs. Enjoy it warm for a cozy experience or over ice for a chilled seasonal drink.

Notes

For storage: Keep leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days in a sealed jar. Warm gently before serving. Add bubbles: Replace the coconut water with sparkling mineral water once cooled for a light, effervescent version. Extra nourishment: Mix in a dash of collagen powder or a few trace minerals for an added boost of recovery support. Ideal as a morning ritual, post-workout recovery drink, or relaxing evening mocktail.
