Ingredients

For the base and layers

  • 2 boxes Vanilla Wafers Crisp cookies to create layers
  • 6 to 8 pieces ripe bananas, sliced Choose just ripe bananas for best flavor
  • 2 cups milk Or substitute with almond or oat milk
  • 1 container fresh strawberries, cleaned and sliced For a fresh fruit layer
  • 1 5 oz box French Vanilla pudding Gives a rich vanilla flavor
  • 1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened Needs to be softened for easier mixing
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk Adds creaminess and sweetness
  • 1 12 oz container whipped topping For a fluffy topping

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  • Gradually add the French Vanilla pudding mix and milk to the mixture, stirring until everything is well incorporated.
  • In a large serving dish, begin layering your ingredients. Start with a layer of vanilla wafers, followed by sliced bananas and strawberries.
  • Pour half of the pudding mixture over the layered fruit and wafers.
  • Repeat the layers: another set of vanilla wafers, bananas, strawberries, and the remaining pudding mixture.
  • Spread the whipped topping over the final layer generously.
  • Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully before serving.

Notes

This dessert is best served chilled and can be made a day in advance. For garnishing, consider adding fresh strawberries or crushed vanilla wafers on top.
