Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (about 30g)

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup almond butter Can be substituted with peanut butter.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Agave syrup can be used as a substitute.
  • 4 oz reduced-fat cream cheese, softened Ensure it is softened for easy mixing.

Fruits

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped Frozen strawberries can be used if thawed and drained well.

Optional Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes Optional ingredient.

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats and protein powder. Mix until evenly combined.
  • Add the almond butter and honey (or maple syrup) to your oats and protein mixture, stirring until a thick dough forms.
  • Gently fold in the chopped strawberries and softened cream cheese, ensuring everything is well incorporated.
  • Scoop out portions of the dough and roll them into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Place the rolled balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months. Use parchment paper to separate the balls when freezing.
