  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour Can substitute with gluten-free flour.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Enhances flavors.

Mix-Ins

  • 1 cup crushed pretzels For an extra crunch, double the amount.
  • 1 cup crushed potato chips Adds flavor and texture.
  • 1 cup M&M's Can swap for other chocolate candies.
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles For decoration.

Baking Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  • In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix this into the creamed mixture.
  • Fold in the crushed pretzels, potato chips, M&M's, white chocolate chips, and sprinkles to create a colorful, crunchy dough.
  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, allowing room for spreading.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and inviting.
  • Cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week. To freeze, scoop onto a baking sheet, freeze until solid, then transfer to a freezer bag. Bake from frozen, adding a couple of minutes to the baking time.
