Main ingredients

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets, 6 oz each
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Can be swapped for coconut sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pat the salmon fillets dry to remove excess moisture.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until well combined.

Baking

  • Place the salmon on the baking sheet and brush half of the glaze over the fillets.
  • Bake for 8 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • Remove from the oven and brush the remaining glaze on the salmon.
  • Return to the oven and bake for an additional 8–10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  • Let the salmon rest for 2 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with a bed of rice or roasted vegetables for a complete meal. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
