Ingredients

Pasta Ingredients

  • 12 oz Spaghetti Use any pasta of your choice.
  • 1 cup Cherry tomatoes Halved.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 cup Fresh basil Chopped.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil Extra-virgin preferred for best flavor.
  • 1 tsp Lemon zest Freshly grated.
  • 8 oz Burrata cheese Can substitute with fresh mozzarella or ricotta.

Instructions

Cooking the Pasta

  • Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until it’s fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  • Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook until they just start to soften—this should take about 3 to 5 minutes.

Combine and Serve

  • Stir in the fresh basil and lemon zest, letting their aromatic qualities blend beautifully with the tomatoes.
  • Toss the cooked spaghetti with the tomato-basil mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated.
  • Serve with a generous topping of burrata, which adds creaminess and pairs perfectly with the fresh flavors.

Notes

Best served in shallow bowls for a rustic look. Pairs well with a light salad or garlic bread and a glass of chilled white wine.
