  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Or substitute with minced fresh garlic.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust based on preference.
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper Freshly ground for best flavor.

Optional Add-Ins

  • 1 cup grated vegetables (zucchini, carrots) For moisture and added nutrition.
  • 1 medium diced onion Adds moisture and sweetness.
  • 1 large grated apple Adds natural sweetness and moisture.

Instructions
 

Mixing the Ingredients

  • In a large bowl, combine ground turkey with sage, fennel seeds, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • If using, add optional ingredients like grated vegetables or diced onions, mixing until just combined.

Shaping the Patties

  • Divide the mixture into equal portions of about 2-3 ounces each.
  • Shape each portion into a round patty about ½ inch thick, making a small indentation in the center.

Cooking the Patties

  • Cook the patties in a skillet over medium heat for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  • Alternatively, bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, or air fry for 8-10 minutes at the same temperature.

Notes

Experiment with spices and herbs to customize flavor. Patties can also be frozen for future meals. Enjoy with a variety of sides for different meal options.
