Preparation and Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter.
  • Cut the French bread into cubes and arrange them evenly in the prepared baking dish.

  • Pour this egg mixture over the bread, ensuring every piece is coated.
  • Gently fold in the fresh blueberries, taking care not to mash them.
  • Cover the casserole with plastic wrap and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  • Bake in your preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set in the middle.

Notes
