Ingredients

For the Cocktail

  • 4 oz vodka (chilled)
  • 2 oz raspberry liqueur (like Chambord)
  • 2 oz pomegranate juice
  • 1 oz grenadine syrup
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Ice cubes

Optional Garnishes

  • black or red sugar for glass rims For a blood-like sparkle
  • tiny dry ice pellets For smoky presentation (do not consume until fully dissipated)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Prepare your vials or shot glasses: For a dramatic effect, dip rims into lemon juice, then roll in black or red sugar.
  • Fill your shaker halfway with ice.
  • Add vodka, raspberry liqueur, pomegranate juice, grenadine, and lemon juice.
  • Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well chilled and richly colored.
  • Strain into a small pitcher or measuring cup for easy pouring.
  • Use a funnel to carefully pour the potion into each glass vial.
  • Optional: Add a tiny pellet of dry ice just before serving for an enchanting smoky mist (do not consume until it’s fully dissipated).
  • Seal with corks or serve open for a more mysterious, laboratory-style presentation.

Notes

Non-Alcoholic Option: Replace vodka and liqueur with sparkling raspberry water and a splash of cranberry juice. Batch-Friendly: Double or triple the recipe and refrigerate before your event — shake with ice before serving. Vampire’s Bite Variation: Add a drop of black food coloring for an even darker, more intense hue. Serve in Style: Present vials on a black velvet tray or with flickering candles for a spine-chilling, elegant touch.
