Ingredients
  

For the whipped feta

  • 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled Use high-quality feta for best flavor.
  • 3 oz cream cheese, softened Allow to reach room temperature for easy blending.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Extra virgin olive oil recommended.
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice Fresh lemon juice is best.
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the crostini

  • 1 baguette sliced into 1/2-inch rounds Choose a fresh baguette for best results.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)

For the hot honey

  • 1/4 cup honey Adjust quantity for desired sweetness.
  • 1/2–1 teaspoon red pepper flakes Adjust based on heat preference.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Arrange the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and brush both sides lightly with olive oil.
  • Bake for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp. Allow to cool slightly.

Whipping the feta

  • In a food processor, combine crumbled feta, cream cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, and black pepper.
  • Process until smooth and creamy. Chill in the refrigerator.

Infusing the honey

  • In a small saucepan, gently warm honey over low heat.
  • Add red pepper flakes and stir for about 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat and let it infuse.

Assembling the crostini

  • Spread a generous spoonful of whipped feta on each baguette slice.
  • Drizzle with warm infused honey and serve immediately.
