Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries (rinsed and completely dried)
  • 1.5 cups white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional, for smooth melting)
  • Mini chocolate chips or melted dark chocolate (for faces)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Wash and dry your strawberries completely. Any moisture can make the chocolate separate or clump.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, heat white chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using) in 20-second intervals, stirring between each until melted and smooth.
  • Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip into the melted white chocolate. Let the excess drip off slightly so a little 'tail' forms at the bottom to look like a ghost.
  • Place the dipped strawberries on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 10–15 minutes, or until firm.
  • Once the coating is set, use mini chocolate chips or melted dark chocolate to draw eyes and a mouth. Chill again for 5 minutes to set.

Notes

Pat strawberries dry with a paper towel before dipping to ensure the chocolate sticks perfectly. Use melting wafers for smoother, glossier results. Keep refrigerated until serving for the best texture and flavor. For a fun twist, dip half the batch in orange-tinted white chocolate for pumpkin ghosts.
