  • 1 lb ground beef You can also use ground turkey for a leaner option.
  • 1 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed Feel free to substitute with your favorite cheese.
  • 12 pieces slider rolls Halved for the recipe.
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • cooking spray For greasing the baking dish.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and drain any excess fat.
  • Add the diced onion and green bell pepper to the beef and sauté until soft.
  • Stir in the cubed Velveeta cheese until it melts into a soothing mixture.
  • Halve the slider rolls and place the bottom halves into a greased baking dish.
  • Spoon the beef and cheese mixture over the rolls, then cap them with the top halves.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until golden and heated through.
  • Serve warm and watch them disappear!

Notes

Store any uneaten sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, pop them back in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes, or microwave them.
